HAECO kicks off renovation of new component facility in Xiamen

HAECO has officially commenced the renovation of its new component repair and overhaul facility in Xiamen. A kick-off ceremony held last month marked a significant infrastructure investment to support the company's long-term growth and operational excellence. With full relocation and occupancy targeted for October 2026, the facility will further strengthen HAECO's component capabilities and enhance its ability to deliver high-quality, efficient services to customers. The new facility features a modern design and an expanded space spanning approximately 9,700 square metres. One defining feature is its highly adaptable layout, which can be reconfigured to meet evolving operational and business needs. By ensuring space allocation remains closely aligned with current workflows, the facility enables more efficient, seamless operational processes as customer demand continues to evolve over time. A number of smart technologies will also be introduced to enhance efficiency, safety and sustainability. These include an intelligent storage system to streamline warehouse operations and maximise space utilisation, RFID-enabled chemical cabinets offering real time tracking of chemical usage and inventory to enhance safety and regulatory compliance; and a smart IoT platform to centrally manage lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and water usage. Together, these initiatives will optimise energy consumption, reduce operating costs and support the development of a more sustainable, future-ready facility for HAECO's component business.
