On 17 August, HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) (HES) launched its "Cooling the Summer, Caring for the City's Outdoor Workers" community care initiative at the Huli District Labour Union Service Station, providing immediate relief to frontline outdoor workers navigating Xiamen’s peak summer heat.

Simon Smith, Director and General Manager of HES, and CSR Representative Grace Fang joined the HES volunteer team to distribute cooling care packs and messages of appreciation to passing sanitation workers, couriers, and delivery drivers. Beyond the care packs, HES set up a dedicated service point equipped with bottled water and portable first-aid kits, which will remain available throughout the hottest months of the season.

This initiative highlights HES’ commitment to supporting the broader community beyond the workplace, turning compassion into action and strengthening connections with the local community.
