HAECO, a global leader in aircraft engineering and maintenance solutions, has successfully completed more than 20 LEAP-1A Reverse Bleed System (RBS) installations for Cathay Pacific. The programme commenced in January 2025 and continues to progress as planned, with the remaining installations scheduled for completion in 2026.
HAECO Global Engine Support, an operating company within the HAECO Group, provides round-the-clock on-wing and in-shop engine support services through a global network spanning Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe. Leveraging these capabilities, HAECO is supporting the efficient delivery of the programme through detailed planning and close collaboration between engineering teams.
“The completion of more than 20 LEAP-1A RBS installations represents an important milestone and reflects the strong collaboration between HAECO and Cathay Pacific,” said Corné van Rooij, General Manager of HAECO Global Engine Support. “Our ability to perform RBS installations in both on-wing and near-wing environments, together with continuous improvements to kit configuration and execution processes, helps ensure efficient programme delivery while supporting fleet availability. We remain committed to delivering safe, reliable and high-quality solutions that support Cathay Pacific’s operational requirements.”
"We are pleased to have worked closely with HAECO on the LEAP-1A Reverse Bleed System installation programme," said Robert Taylor, General Manager Engineering Operations, Cathay Pacific. "The successful completion of more than 20 installations to date reflects the dedication and professionalism of both teams. This collaborative effort supports the continued reliability and operational performance of our A321neo fleet and demonstrates the strong partnership between Cathay Pacific and HAECO."
In addition to performing LEAP-1A RBS installations in Hong Kong, HAECO provides engine maintenance and technical services through its facilities in London and Dallas.
