The HAECO Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Gray Zhang as Group Director Human Resources, effective 30th September 2024. With over twenty-five years of experience in Human Resources (HR) across multiple industries, Ms. Zhang brings a wealth of expertise to the HAECO group leadership team. In her new role, Ms. Zhang will be responsible for shaping and implementing global HR strategies that support HAECO’s commitment to people excellence and its growth across various markets.

Ms. Zhang holds a degree in Arts and began her career in HR, where she quickly developed a passion for cultivating talent and enhancing organisational performance. She has held prominent roles in various sectors, including industrial, chemical, technology, and FMCG industries. Ms. Zhang’s career includes two years at Schindler and ten years at Hercules/Ashland, where she gained significant HR and management experience across Asia, particularly in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, Korea, India, Singapore, and Vietnam. Most recently, she served as the Human Resources Director at Asahi Asia in Hong Kong, where she successfully led HR initiatives that positioned the company for growth and success.

The HAECO Group would like to take this opportunity to extend its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Raymond So, who will be retiring at the end of the month from his role as Group Director of Human Resources. Mr. So has made significant contributions both to the company over the last few years and to the wider Swire group over decades, particularly during the pandemic, where he played a pivotal role in ensuring that HAECO did not lay off any employees during this challenging period.
