HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen), specialising in overhaul, testing, and component repair for GE90 engines, is set to expand with a new facility scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. This new building will increase capacity to support additional engine types, including the GP7200, CF34-10A, and GE9X, while offering more space for engine maintenance and storage.
The facility spans 4,420 square meters with a total floor area of 10,015 square meters over two floors, and incorporates eco-friendly features such as LED lighting and a solar panel system. Located adjacent to the existing Phase 2 building completed in 2011, this expansion reinforces HAECO’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development.
Sandra Nieuwenhuijzen, Group Director of Component and Engine Services at HAECO, stated, “As the aerospace industry continues to grow and evolve, this facility reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainable development, enabling us to scale up support for our customers across a diverse range of product lines."
Since its establishment in 2008, HAECO Engine Services has consistently adapted to meet customer needs. The new facility will enhance capacity and enable us to develop service capabilities for both current and next-generation engines, bolstering HAECO’s leadership in the aviation maintenance sector.
