Recently, our Composite Services team in Jinjiang, Chinese Mainland, achieved a major milestone by pioneering an out-of-manual repair solution for an A350 wing trailing edge access panel.

The panel had sustained multiple disbonded areas as a result of water ingress and was initially slated for replacement. Nonetheless, our skilled engineers developed a cutting-edge solution that met all regulatory requirements while fully restoring the panel’s structural integrity. This innovative solution not only minimised aircraft downtime but also delivered significant cost savings for our airline customer.

This achievement underscores our focus on repair-versus-replacement and sets a new industry benchmark for composite repairs.
