HAECO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Fly Meta Group at the inaugural MRO Greater China held in Beijing in May, marking a step towards closer collaboration in supporting Fly Meta’s growing widebody freighter operations.

The proposed partnership will draw on HAECO’s maintenance network and technical capabilities across a broad range of MRO services, including airframe maintenance, line maintenance, engine services, landing gear, composite materials, and component maintenance and repair for Fly Meta’s Boeing 747F and 777F freighter fleet.

HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen), a GE90 GE Branded Services Agreement holder and authorised GE90 service provider, is expected to provide GE90 engine repair, overhaul, on-wing support and spare engine support, with services on multiple GE90 engines expected to commence in the second half of 2026 following the formalisation of a multi-year Engine Service Agreement.

Looking ahead, both parties will explore further opportunities in airframe maintenance across Hong Kong, Xiamen and the wider Greater China region, reinforcing HAECO’s support for Fly Meta’s expanding freighter fleet.
