HAECO LGBT+ Network hosted our annual Pink Friday in November, and it was our biggest and boldest celebration yet. Under the vibrant slogan “Be Pink, Be Bold, Be Proud”, we came together to show our united support for the LGBT+ community, spreading love and inclusion throughout our workplace.

What began in 2023 as a smaller-scale event engaging around 300 colleagues has grown remarkably. This year, we were thrilled to welcome over 700 colleagues from across our Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance teams, more than doubling our reach and reflecting our shared commitment to a more connected and supportive HAECO.

On Pink Friday, our hangar was filled with colour, conversation, and camaraderie. Dressed in pink, our colleagues received pink souvenirs, snacks and drinks, and participated in engaging games which offered fun experiences. Highlights included the Rainbow Curling game and the enlightening LGBT+ Fun Fact Q&A, which sparked great conversations and learning.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, or helped organise this wonderful day. We look forward to engaging even more people for Pink Friday next year!
