Carl Lineham joined HAECO Engine Services in 2022, making a bold move by relocating from Wales in the UK to Xiamen. Despite the challenges of moving to a new country and culture, he quickly adapted to life there, thanks in large part to his warm and friendly colleagues. They helped him with applying for a Chinese bank card and learn essential skills, such as signing up for WeChat and making payments using a QR code. This support fostered a sense of belonging for Carl, making his life easier and allowing him to experience HAECO's culture of diversity and inclusion firsthand.

For Carl, living in Xiamen is not all about work; there is a vibrant life that awaits him beyond the office. He enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his colleagues, such as tree planting and horseback riding. They not only strengthen team bonds but deepens his connections with others, enriching his overall experience.

“I can confidently and proudly say that I am a part of HAECO,” Carl remarked. He is also actively learning Mandarin to fully immerse himself into the local culture.
