Since the inception of Hong Kong Air Cargo in 2017, HAECO has been its sole provider of line services at Hong Kong International Airport, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency for its customer. In addition to line maintenance, HAECO has been providing base maintenance support to Hong Kong Air Cargo since 2022, further enhancing the airline's operational capabilities. As Hong Kong Air Cargo continues to expand its global footprint, with recent expansions to Liege, Riyadh, London Stansted, and Dubai, HAECO remains fully supportive of its growth ambitions.

In addition to passenger services, air cargo also plays a crucial role in the success of Hong Kong International Airport, which is set to reach an important milestone in 2024 with the completion of its three-runway system. This development will significantly boost the airport's capacity, with an expected annual cargo handling capacity of 10 million tonnes by 2035 during full operation.
