This programme offers a fast-track pathway to becoming an internationally recognised Aircraft Engineer, with certifying authority and professional credentials that build value over the course of your career. Trainees will specialise in either Airframe & Engine (B1.1) or Avionics (B2).
Our structured 4-year programme comprises:
Two years of basic maintenance licence training and MRO-related theoretical and practical training, delivered at our leading training centre in Xiamen, China.
Two years of structured on-the-job training (OJT) at the maintenance hangar, where you can gain hands-on experience in a live operational environment.
Throughout the programme – and after completion – trainees will benefit from milestone-based development, dedicated coaching, and clear progression pathways into various technical and leadership roles.
This programme is designed to provide the hands-on skills and practical experience required to become a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic with HAECO.
Our structured 2-year programme comprises 3 to 6 months of classroom and practical training at the training centre and 18 to 21 months of structured on-the-job training (OJT) in the maintenance hangar.
Throughout the programme – and after completion – trainees will benefit from milestone-based development, dedicated coaching, and clear progression pathways to support their long-term career growth.
The HAECO Xiamen Training Centre, with a professional team of nearly 60 full-time instructors, delivers comprehensive training across a wide range of aviation maintenance disciplines. These include training courses for various aircraft types, basic license, practical skills, aviation English, human factors, and other specialised aviation maintenance courses for airlines, MROs, and universities in the Chinese Mainland, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, etc. The training centre is authorised to provide Airbus A320, A330 and A350 type training on behalf of Airbus. HAECO is also the first MRO organisation and aircraft maintenance training provider in Greater China to offer a Boeing 787 training suite.
