Programme highlights

Our engineers are the cogs that help to keep the wheels of the aviation industry turning. The Aircraft Engineer Licence Trainee programme is a Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD)-approved programme that provides a fast-track route to becoming an internationally recognised Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with the HAECO Group.

Open to those with a recognised degree in Engineering or related disciplines, trainees will undergo a 3.5-year training programme with the goal of gaining an aircraft maintenance licence and becoming a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. 

Development path

A 36-month or 42-month structured training programme includes theoretical training, practical workshop training and on-the-job training on aircraft. On becoming an HKAR-66 basic licence holder, you will become a certifier to release specific aircraft type from Hong Kong, Macau and the Chinese Mainland into service.
