HAECO welcomed eight aspiring engineers to our Hong Kong facilities this year through the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers’ (HKIE) Aircraft Engineering Development Scheme. Over an intensive 10-day programme, the students gained a comprehensive overview of the aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) trade, exploring key departments such as Material Management, Technical Services, and Planning & Production Control.

Beyond classroom learning, the students also participated in hands-on training at our base maintenance, avionics, sheet metal, and composite workshops. Supported by dedicated mentorship and networking opportunities, they gained valuable insights into aviation maintenance careers and industry practices.
