At HAECO, we believe that sustainability begins with everyday choices. In November, we hosted our third Environment Week in Hong Kong, inspiring colleagues to adopt eco-friendly habits through interactive experiences and hands-on activities. 

One of the highlights was the HAECO Green Market at our hangar, where four local green organisations joined us to promote the principles of reuse, reduction, recycling, and upcycling. Colleagues explored a range of eco products, swapped pre-loved items at second-hand booths, and participated in creative workshops—transforming reclaimed wood into pencil holders and crafting essential oils from orange peels. These hands-on sessions offered practical recycling tips that colleagues could apply both at home and in the workplace. 

To further our commitment, managers attended a Sustainable Development Goals workshop, designed to foster sustainability leadership and encourage actionable change. Our team also took part in a coastal clean-up near our headquarters, collecting 40kg of waste and making a meaningful difference to our local environment. 

The Environment Week reaffirmed our dedication to sustainable development and highlighted the positive impact we can achieve together.
