At HAECO, investing in our community’s youth and nurturing young talent is a key part of our long-term strategy to create a sustainable future. Building on the success of HAECO Hong Kong’s “Run with Youth” programme earlier this year, we have continued to champion youth development through various sports initiatives.

As a partner of the YMCA’s “Empirical” project, our team engaged ethnic minority youth through football and cultural exchange sessions, fostering meaningful experiences that reflect our dedication to diversity and inclusion.

Furthermore, our colleagues participated in the InspiringHK “WELL DUNK!” Public Estate Basketball League & Training Programme, which included a 6-month mentorship for young people in Tung Chung. Through this, they nurtured a spirit of teamwork and resilience while building lasting friendships. 

These initiatives demonstrate that sports are more than just a game or competition, but a universal language that unites people, cultivates confidence, teamwork and positive values, and ultimately lays the foundation for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
