HAECO proudly received two distinguished awards at the 2025 MRO Asia-Pacific Awards: “Asia MRO of the Year – Airframe” for its exceptional airframe maintenance capabilities, and “Marketing Campaign of the Year” for its impactful employer branding and Hong Kong trainee recruitment campaign.

The judging panel of Aviation Week stated, “HAECO impressed the judges with its exceptional achievements, including the expansion of its operations and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Notable initiatives include sustainability leadership with its LEED Platinum-certified hangar, the use of drone inspections, and strategic agreements with industry leaders such as Boeing and COMAC. Its [HAECO’s] innovative approach and worldwide strategy position it as a world-class provider in the airframe MRO sector.”

From 2024 to 2025, HAECO marked significant milestones, including the induction of Emirates’ first A380 for base maintenance, signing a Memorandum of Understanding with COMAC to collaborate on airframe, engine, and component services, and becoming the world’s largest single-span hangar—and the first outside the U.S.—to achieve LEED Platinum certification, underscoring its commitment to sustainable development. The airframe award builds on HAECO’s recognition as “Asia MRO of the Year – Engine” the previous year, affirming its excellence across multiple business segments.

The “Marketing Campaign of the Year” award celebrates HAECO’s successful recruitment campaign for its Aircraft Engineering Licence Trainee (AELT) and Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic Trainee (AMMT) programmes in Hong Kong. Launched during the summer graduation season, the campaign powerfully conveyed HAECO’s employer value proposition, “Be part of something bigger” and targeted engineering graduates and early-career professionals.

Organised annually by Aviation Week, the ch-Pacific Awards recognise visionaries and pioneers advancing excellence and innovation across the region’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul industry.
