HAECO has signed a new component maintenance agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace, a leading supplier of aviation systems, to support COMAC’s C909 and C919 aircraft.

This partnership will see the two companies collaborate on repair and overhaul services for the aircraft’s hydraulic components, ensuring optimal safety and performance as COMAC continues to expand its fleet.

Eric Thévenot, General Manager Aerospace Customer Service at Liebherr (China) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, said, “This strategic partnership combines HAECO’s component MRO know-how and Liebherr-Aerospace’s OEM capabilities in China to deliver efficient and comprehensive hydraulic component maintenance for COMAC’s commercial jet aircraft.”

In parallel, HAECO and Liebherr maintain a dedicated landing gear service agreement to support the C909 fleet. This new partnership highlights their successful collaboration and shared commitment to providing localised, best-in-class MRO solutions for the growing Chinese Mainland market.
