HAECO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the School of Mechanical Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) to advance aviation education, training and talent development in Vietnam.

The partnership brings together HAECO’s extensive experience as a global MRO provider and HUST’s strong academic foundation in engineering and applied research. Through this collaboration, both parties will explore opportunities to enhance student training, scholarships and career development, supporting the growth of a skilled aviation workforce in the region.

The initiative also reflects HAECO’s long-term commitment to supporting Vietnam’s aviation development as it expands its presence in Southeast Asia. Notably, this builds on the company’s recent announcement of a joint venture with Sun Group, Toyota Tsusho and Japan Airlines to develop a new aircraft maintenance facility in Vietnam—further strengthening the country’s MRO capability and creating new opportunities for local talent.

By investing in both infrastructure and people, HAECO aims to help meet the increasing demand for aviation expertise in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
