HAECO Component Overhaul (Hong Kong)
HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Ltd.
HAECO CRO is an independent MRO offering a wide range of repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft components from its purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen.
HAECO CRO was founded in the 1960s, and relocated in 1998 to Tseung Kwan O when the Hong Kong International Airport moved to Chek Lap Kok, Lantau. To support the rapidly growing aviation industry in the Chinese mainland, HAECO CRO extended its footprint in 2013, establishing HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Ltd., which is wholly managed by HAECO Component Overhaul.
Apart from repairs of individual components, the workshops also facilitate closed-loop repair of components from HAECO's airframe maintenance checks and on-wing engine services. Warranty repair and repair station services are also available as OEM Authorised Repair Centres. It is also a service provider for HAECO ITM Ltd, a joint venture between HAECO and Cathay Pacific that provides component repair management, inventory pooling and component trading services to airline customers.
Both facilities operate with approvals from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD).
