        Testimonials

"I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1983 to 1987 and I am a Cold War veteran. Working on A-4, F-4 and F/A-18 aircraft and attached to VMFA-312 at MCAS Beaufort, I completed two deployments to Iwakuni, Japan; Subic Bay, Philippines; and Yecheon, South Korea. I started working at HAECO Americas in January 1991 and have used the skills I learned in the Marine Corps every single day. I have enjoyed working at HAECO with current members of the military and veterans from all eras. They have many of the same skills, background and experiences that I do and we share a camaraderie, no matter what branch of service we served in.
        Keith Zimbro, Avionics Lead Mechanic

"I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1976, serving as a member of VP-91 Anti-Submarine Warfare Squadron based at NAS Moffett Field in Sunnyvale, California. I was honourably discharged in 1981 and I began my career in the Aviation industry on various military contracts taking me all over the United States, South America and Europe. My Naval Aviation training and experience paved the way for me to make a long-lasting career in the aviation industry, culminating with my long tenure here at HAECO Americas."
        Reid Blackwell, Technical Recruiter

        Supporting Fellow Veterans

HAECO is proud to support Purple Heart Homes (PHH), a 501(c)3 charity organisation helping service-connected disabled veterans with housing solutions. Improvements can be as simple as adding a hand rail to full remodels accommodating wheelchairs. As a founding board member of the Purple Heart Homes Piedmont, North Carolina Chapter, HAECO has the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of deserving local veterans. Whether it is organising a community fundraiser or employees donating their time and skills at project build sites, HAECO is committed to supporting this worthy cause.

About Purple Heart Homes Charity Golf Fundraiser

HAECO Americas is proud to support the Piedmont, North Carolina Chapter of Purple Heart Homes. Founded by Veterans for Veterans, Purple Heart Homes, together with the community, is committed to ensuring quality of life and providing housing solutions for disabled American Veterans of all eras.

Dedicated to Purple Heart Homes co-founder Dale Beatty, who passed away in February 2018, the Fourth Annual Purple Heart Homes Charity Golf Fundraiser, presented and organised by HAECO Americas, was the largest and most successful event to date! In 2018, we are proud to announce that a total of US$119,000 was raised through the golf tournament, associated raffles, auctions and events! Compared to last year, we doubled the proceeds that were donated directly to the charity, which is a tremendous accomplishment!
