HAECO's Technical Training Department was established in 1957. It is responsible for fulfilling all the technical training needs of HAECO and supporting other companies within the Group. It also offers services to business partners, airlines and other maintenance organisations. It maintains the most updated training standards required in the industry, as prescribed by the regulatory authorities, airline customers and the Quality Department of HAECO.
The Department is a HKAR-147, EASA Part-147 and SAR-147 Approved Training Organisation. The scope of approval includes basic licence and aircraft type training for Cat. A, Cat. B1/B2 and Cat. C , covering most of the Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft types. Specific customised training programmes can be designed, complied and delivered to customers at HAECO or on-site at the customer's own facility. To provide the support to the Industry, HAECO Technical Training obtained the delegation from HKCAD to operate a computerised Examination Center to conduct multi-choice licence examination on behalf of HKCAD on all HKAR-66 Basic Modules. |
