HAECO's Component and Avionics Overhaul (CAO) facility is situated at Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate which is 50 km east of Hong Kong International Airport. It is a purpose-built building of 7,000 sqm of usable space which houses Component Overhaul and Avionics workshops, and a Calibration & Metrology Centre.

All services conform to standards as dictated by customers' National Airworthiness Authorities. HAECO's high quality standard is validated by ISO9001(2008) certification.

CAO capability is enhanced by joint venture and cooperation agreements with OEMs such as Eaton, B/E Aerospace, Panasonic, Goodrich, Spirit and Liebherr, providing full repair management services to customers including warranty repairs.

Component Overhaul
HAECO's Component Overhaul Workshop has extensive capabilities to repair/overhaul a range of aircraft components of Boeing 747, 767, 777 and Airbus 320/321, 330, 340, as well as engine components of Rolls-Royce RB211 and Trent series. Average turnaround time is 14 days. These components can be categorised into the following main systems: Pneumatic, Mechanical, Fuel, Safety Equipment, Hydraulic and Bottles. Specialised services such as Non-Destructive-Testing (NDT), Hydrostatic Testing of cylinders are also offered.  TOP

Avionics Overhaul
Employing more than 50 highly skilled technicians and quipped with a number of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), HAECO's sophisticated Avionics Overhaul Workshops handle more than 40,000 components every year, with an average turnaround time of 9 days. These specilaist capability include those Avionics Components from Communication, Navigation, Instrument, Electrical, AFCS, IFE, Galley Inserts, etc.   TOP

Calibration & Metrology Centre
  • 'In-house' calibration and repair services for the company's test equipment, tooling and gauges used for the overhaul, repair and maintenance of aircraft, engines and their associated components such that the standards provided fully meet all Regulatory Authority requirements.
  • Similar services to the public, such as airlines, local industries, public utilities, test laboratories, construction vendors, institutions, and manufacturers in China. CALMET is accredited under Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) for specific tests and measurements which are listed in the HOKLAS directory of accredited laboratories.
