HAECO Cabin Solutions Unveils The Arc™ Headrest

HAECO Cabin Solutions, a division of HAECO Americas and a business unit within the HAECO Group, today launched the Arc headrest. Featuring the industry’s first double hinge system, it is HAECO Cabin Solutions’ latest innovative contribution to passenger comfort technology, and has been designed to give superior head and neck support compared with static and articulating headrests currently on the market.

The Arc headrest follows the contours of the head using a patent-pending, five-segment, articulating-joint cushion system, which reduces head movement during flight. In addition to being offered with the Vector™ seating platform, the Arc headrest is available to retrofit onto existing passenger seats.

With its dual articulating panel and adjustable tilt and height, the Arc headrest gently cradles the head from ear to ear. These innovative design features enable a neutral resting position and lead to an enhanced comfort level without modifying recline or requiring pitch adjustments.

“The Arc headrest is the culmination of HAECO’s airframe and cabin interior heritage. It offers consummate simplicity of integration and maintenance along with being easy to purchase, install and maintain,” said Mark Peterman, President of HAECO Cabin Solutions.

The Arc headrest is available as a selectable feature on HAECO’s Vector family of seating, in single and twin-aisle economy, premium economy and single-aisle premium class (Business/First). As a standalone product, the Arc headrest can be retrofitted onto existing seat platforms to eliminate the need for a full seat overhaul or replacement. The new Arc headrest is designed to elevate cabin service levels with minimal operator investment, while facilitating an enhanced passenger experience.
