HAECO GROUP ACQUIRES GE ENGINE OVERHAUL
FACILITY IN XIAMEN
Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO)
and Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (TAECO)
have today entered into an agreement with GE Pacific Private
Limited and General Electric Company to purchase a majority
of shareholding in GE Engine Services (Xiamen) Company
Limited (GEEX). The new entity will be renamed Taikoo
Engine Services (Xiamen) Limited (TEXL).

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) announced today the signing of a joint venture agreement with Air Arabia, first low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, to meet the airline engineering and maintenance requirements. The new company, a 49:51 (HAECO:Air Arabia) joint venture, will be known as HAECO Sharjah Aircraft Maintenance Company Limited (HS-AECO) and will be based in Sharjah.

HAECO AND AIR HONG KONG SIGNED CONTRACTS
HAECO and AHK have signed contracts for 1) the provision of an inventory Total Care Package (TCP) and 2) Line Maintenance (LM) services in HK for the support of AHK's new A300-600 fleet. The inventory TCP contract includes acquiring an inventory of rotable and repairable spares for leasing to AHK and providing management, logistic support, and maintenance to this inventory. The LM services contract includes the provision in HK of routine, non-routine and ad-hoc technical and ramp services support.

FOURTH HANGAR FOR TAECO
Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd. (TAECO), an associate of HAECO, has started to build its fourth hangar at Xiamen, PRC. It will be able to accommodate two wide-bodied aircraft on completion in March 2006 in addition to the three hangars currently in operation. This will expand TAECO capacity to eight wide-body aircraft and four narrow-body aircraft.
