Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) and Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (TAECO) have today entered into an agreement with GE Pacific Private Limited and General Electric Company to purchase a majority of shareholding in GE Engine Services (Xiamen) Company Limited (GEEX).  The new entity will be renamed Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Limited (TEXL).

Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) has today announced that it will invest HK$85 million (US$11 million) in an expansion to its aero jet engine overhaul and component repair facility at Tseung Kwan O, in Hong Kong's New Territories.

On 22nd February 2006, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (“HAECO”), The Guangdong Airport Management Corporation (“GAMC”) and Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (“TAECO”) have signed a Letter of Intent in Singapore to establish a joint venture hangar facility in Guangzhou.

Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Ltd. (HAESL) and Singapore Aero Engine Services Ltd. (SAESL) have signed a new contract with Emirates Airline for the ongoing maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce Trent aircraft engines within its fleet.

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) held a ground-breaking ceremony today to mark the commencement of construction of its second aircraft maintenance hangar at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (TAECO), a subsidiary of Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO), announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Government of Xiamen, People's Republic of China, to build its fifth hangar and ancillary facilities at Gaoqi International Airport, Xiamen.

HAECO has entered into agreements with the Airport Authority pursuant to which HAECO will build a second hangar at the Airport and is granted an extension of the Master Franchise so that it expires on 5th July, 2031 instead of 5th July 2018.

Jinan, China (10th January, 2005) - on 7th January, 2005, an agreement between Pemco Aviation Group, Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company (TAECO), and Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Company (STAECO) has been signed in Jinan establishing a cargo conversion partnership for China and the Asian Pacific region. Under the agreement, the companies will jointly market freighter conversions and perform conversions at TAECO/STAECO's facilities in China.

Boeing is increasing TAECO participation in the 747-400 Special Freighter programme by contracting TAECO to modify 20 additional airplanes.

HAECO and AHK have signed contracts for 1) the provision of an inventory Total Care Package (TCP) and 2) Line Maintenance (LM) services in HK for the support of AHK's new A300-600 fleet. The inventory TCP contract includes acquiring an inventory of rotable and repairable spares for leasing to AHK and providing management, logistic support, and maintenance to this inventory. The LM services contract includes the provision in HK of routine, non-routine and ad-hoc technical and ramp services support.

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) has entered into an agreement with SIA Engineering Company on 11th August, 2004 to acquire the latter's remaining 5% stake in Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (TAECO). Both parties look forward to other new opportunities of cooperation in future.

Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd. (TAECO), an associate of HAECO, has started to build its fourth hangar at Xiamen, PRC. It will be able to accommodate two wide-bodied aircraft on completion in March 2006 in addition to the three hangars currently in operation. This will expand TAECO capacity to eight wide-body aircraft and four narrow-body aircraft.

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd. (HAECO) confirmed today (8th January, 2004) that its Mainland China associate, Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd. (TAECO), is working with The Boeing Company on the newly-announced B747-400 Special Freighter Conversion programme.
